Sculpture duality

Religion/a-religion Two vessels/instruments, one stuffed with worldly representations of the divine but useless other than it's fulfilment of itself, one empty with holes but with the capacity for being a mouthpiece from a *higher being*. Two biodegradable vessels, one filled with a permanent hardening (a presumed influence or belief), one empty. When they degrade, one will leave their shaped hardening, as a "testament" of its life, and an inspiration for other vessels, while the other will just fade into pieces.

The forgotten gods

Atheist writing about rationalising with religious groups. But no matter what he does, he only convinced them to be more religious. Bringing the two groups together. They marry. Culture clash. Unknown parts of their religions attributed to demons. Negative othering being used for the blame game. Leading to Confirmation bias, and a further othering, encapsulating a vicious cycle. Eg: a Buddhist family blames their Christian convert son in law for bringing curses from angered gods. Like Divorce via unequally yoked relationships, business flops from differing moral dilemmas, misinterpretation of tolerance as passive aggression. They act to prevent further disaster by bringing in holy cleansing with chanting monks and blessings and pasting written notes of wards all over the house, which The Christian sees as sinister and being filled with unholy spirits. They each respond with further spiritual defenses and offenses that offends the other party.
