Waiting for Godot
minor differences in performative act 1 & act 2.
Act 1
Mime facing backwards to the audience, towards the "character audience", who are the actors, critically commenting on the show they are seeing.
In essence, we are experiencing a commentary of the actual show from the vantage of the backstage crew.
Halfway through the play, the audience gets raucous. They rewind the "play" they are watching.
Act 2.
the vantage of the 'play' is switched to the actual audience now. Actors are interspersed and spread into the actual audience, and we see the mime/performance happening in 1st POV. Critical commentary ensues. Give room for impromptu as the actual audience might react and divert the course of action. Audience interaction.
ends with throwing tomatoes and such/ clapping.
start from the end and end at the start
