Buildings are living beings.

The Fengshui master told me that homes are living things. He eyed me and sending my uncertainty, said that: for all the doubters and skeptical out there, Fengshui is very much like science. Symbiosis is science. The never ending give and take of yin and yang shows that the way we inhabit houses represents the act of symbiosis

Leave the house in his hands, he said. After all, his craft was the one unique attempt in history to understand the creature that is -- the home.

A home without a human is a dead home, and we are the motors crucial for its function.
